CAMI honors Maryland Cybersecurity Award winners

More than 300 guests attended the sold-out event, which featured congratulatory video presentations from U.S. Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger, R-Md., and Gov. Larry Hogan, expressing their support of Maryland’s cybersecurity ecosystem.

The event was co-emceed by Evan Dornbush, co-founder and CEO of Point3 Security, and Jay Turakhia, vice president in the corporate and institutional banking division in the greater Maryland market for PNC Bank.

  • Best of Baltimore City: Sally Kenyon Grant, Vice President, Point3 Security
  • Best of Baltimore County: Syncopated Engineering
  • Best of Frederick County: Patriot Technologies
  • Best of Howard County: Enveil
  • Best of Montgomery County: Koolspan
  • Innovator of the Year (cybersecurity technology company award): Enveil, Howard County
  • Cybersecurity Defender of the Year (cybersecurity services company award): CSIOS Corporation, Charles County
  • Cybersecurity Company to Watch: Cyber Crucible, Baltimore County
  • Cybersecurity Champion Award: Ellen Hemmerly, Executive Director, bwtech@UMBC
  • Cybersecurity Industry Resource Award: Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation, Anne Arundel County
  • Cybersecurity Diversity Award: The CyberWire, Howard County
  • People’s Choice Award: Dr. Emma Garrison-Alexander, Vice Dean, University of Maryland University College
