Director of Marketing
SRT is looking for an enthusiastic, results-oriented Director of Marketing who can address both strategy and tactics to grow revenue and create desired business outcomes. The candidate must have technology or software product marketing experience.
As Director of Marketing, you’re responsible for driving the strategy, messaging, and positioning of products and services. As both an individual contributor and a manager, you’ll create crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging, drive lead generation, grow subscriptions, and create a complete GTM strategy for new cloud-based products.
What you will do:
- Create compelling messaging and positioning that showcases the value of our solutions to our target audiences
- GTM strategy for new cloud-based products including buyer personas, buyer’s journey, positioning, content development, and launch-related activities
- Content marketing for new and existing products
- Direct social media and advertising activities
- Direct web team in SEO, content updates, and increased interactions
- Direct and optimize email marketing activities
- Become the SME in the Azure and AWS cloud marketplaces, with a focus on growing subscribers for new and existing products.
- Drive the development of thought leadership content
- Collaborate with product management and sales
- Consult with customers in partnership with Product Management and Sales to explore product and market opportunities
- Create and report on marketing plans, strategies, and metrics
- Hire and develop talent to grow the marketing team
Who you are:
- An accomplished B2B marketer, preferably with experience in Azure and AWS marketplaces
- Able to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with an understanding of audience and communication styles
- A competent researcher who uses data and research to inform strategic decisions
- Dynamic and comfortable in a changing environment
- Equally comfortable with strategic and tactical efforts; a hands-on contributor
- A collaborative team player
- Possess superior capacity to deliver simple explanations and tell engaging stories that clearly convey who we are, what we do, and why it’s best
- An adaptable self-starter who can work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- You have a sense of ownership and a can-do attitude: you take on complex projects and own them from start to finish
Your additional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in product marketing with experience in B2B technology
- SaaS experience is a plus
- Pragmatic Marketing Certification is a plus
- Experience in marketing automation and CRM
- A technical background or an aptitude and curiosity for technical subjects
- Excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail
