Director of Sales

About the Role

SRT is seeking a motivated Director of Sales to support fast growing demand for our products. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, high-energy salesperson to be on the front line. The Director of Sales will report directly to the EVP, Business Development and be responsible for building a team of Enterprise Sales representatives across the United States.

What You Will Do

  • Become an expert in SRT Cloud and on-premises offerings, understanding the technology and how to apply it to solving business problems
  •  Own the full sales cycle from building relationships to negotiation, managing the entire sales process from prospect to close
  • Accurately forecast sales revenue and pipeline on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Effectively implement net new business acquisition strategies and tactics to maximize growth of new business
  • Maintain CRM and ensure a strong pipeline
  • Manage existing sales personnel
  • Hire, coach, and develop the growing US Enterprise Sales team
  • Manage strategic partners, including Microsoft Solution Providers
  • Duties of the role may evolve subject to the needs of the business

Who You Are

  • An “A-Player” with a proven track record in prospecting and closing enterprise software solution sales, both on-premises and in the cloud
  • 4+ years in a quota carrying, account management role with experience working with large, enterprise-level accounts, with a proven track record of achieving quota
  • Lean sales model experience—thriving in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • A player/coach who is comfortable carrying your own quota, while mentoring and growing a successful team
  • Experience in accurately forecasting sales revenue
  • Ability to identify strategic client pains and develop unique and compelling value propositions that focus on delivering business value to the client
  • Great at building relationships and collaborating within a team-selling environment across the company
  • Demonstrated experience building and developing top-performing teams
  • Strong ability to coach and mentor
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Technical Writer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for a technical individual with a penchant to easily communicate complex, technical information to any audience. The Technical Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality and understandable content with the goal to improve the success of our growing products.

What You Will Do

  • Consolidate, centralize, and maintain all documentation within a Knowledge Base System used to solve issues presented by external and internal stakeholders
  • Work with Developers and Support Engineers to create and maintain exceptional documentation in the form of user guides, integration guides, FAQs, technical overviews, and in-product help documentation
  • Build and maintain client resources and educational materials such as videos, demos, tutorials, and training materials
  • Write software documentation from technical specifications, discussions with developers, and hands-on experimentation
  • Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables
  • Publish monthly or quarterly release notes to internal and external stakeholders with information on product updates, releases, and fixes
  • Monitor metrics on the usage of training materials as well as direct client feedback to prioritize future training investments
  • Monitor metrics on the usage of KB articles to understand and better cater to external stakeholders
  • Identify problem areas or structural deficiencies and proactively contribute to their improvement

Who You Are

  • A results-driven individual with a proven track record of building out a centralized content library
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate complex technical topics in a way that is engaging and understood by non-technical stakeholders
  • A Computer Science graduate or at least 3+ years of experience writing technical documentation and workflows for SaaS and Managed File Transfer (MFT) based software
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with MadCap Flare
  • Strong technical aptitude – ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools
  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities
  • Proactive and open-minded attitude toward resolving problems and delivering results
  • Obsessive eye for consistency and technical accuracy
