Titan SFTP Server – HA (Titan HA) is the only SFTP server that supports native clustering. Titan’s distributed architecture enables flexibility of implementation and eliminates the problems of syncing.
Titan HA gives you the high availability and failover you need should you take one server offline. That means no downtime for you or your loyal customers. Additionally, Titan’s load balancing easily manages high transaction volumes, making sure that your operations run smoothly.
You control your cluster
Titan HA can be scaled and clustered to handle an unlimited number of users. The User Accounts Database can be stored remotely in an external SQLServer Database; or, in the case of AD/LDAP-based user authentication, on an external server — which is accessible from multiple nodes. Employing an external database to store configuration and user account information creates a fully scalable system where multiple nodes share the workload and allow system maintenance without creating user access limitations.
In a failover scenario, should one Titan HA be taken offline, traffic is directed to the next Titan HA on the priority list. When the server is available again, traffic automatically routes back to share the load and uninterrupted service continues.
Titan HA is fully compatible with Titan DMZ Server to ensure complete DMZ protection for your clustered environment.
ACTIVE/ACTIVE or ACTIVE/PASSIVE
Titan HA also offers an Active/Active configuration which gives you access to the resources of all your servers during normal operation. In an Active/Passive cluster, the backup server is only used during a failover event. Both configurations serve to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
All clustered Titan HA servers access a single instance of the file repository, database, and authentication to avoid network intensive and error-prone syncing.
